The Mavericks will face the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the playoffs. Game 1 of the series will be played in Minneapolis on April 15, 2023. Game 2 will be played in Dallas on May 2, 2023.

The Mavericks are hoping to make a deep run in the playoffs this season. The team won 52 games during the regular season and finished as the fourth seed in the Western Conference.
