The Indiana Pacers secured a resounding victory over the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference First Round series, despite the absence of Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Pacers went 4-1 against the Bucks this season, including a 122-109 victory in Game 1.
Every Pacers starter reached double figures in scoring, led by Tyrese Haliburton's 22 points and 11 assists. Domantas Sabonis added 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Buddy Hield chipped in with 18 points. The Pacers shot 48.5% from the field and drained 13 three-pointers.
The Bucks, who were without Antetokounmpo due to a knee injury, struggled to find an answer for the Pacers' balanced attack. Jrue Holiday led the way for Milwaukee with 22 points, while Khris Middleton added 19 points. The Bucks shot just 40.2% from the field and made only eight three-pointers.
